ELA: A fine blog entry dated between Oct 11th and Oct 16th (most students need a little more reader reaction (I thought, I liked, I predict for top scores)).
Reading--please read each evening for at least 20 minutes to give you thoughts and experiences for your blog entries, as well as to advance your Reading Counts goals (be at pace for 6/7 toward goal, or 85%).
Social Studies: Reconstruction Study Guide: Please complete your study guide with 13 lucky answers with supporting details so you are well-prepared for the Reconstruction Unit Test. Work with 2 or 3 of your friends to divide the work and share effort. The Completed Study Guide is worth up to 5 extra credit points the day of the test. We will negotiate whether it is best to have the test Tuesday the 15th or Tuesday the 22nd. The test will consist of 15 multiple-choice and short answer, and one student-selected essay from a choice of two offered by Mr. Durden taken directly from the 13 questions in the study guide.
